our goal is to create a sustainable sports infrastructure for people of all ages in mwanza, tanzania: together with the city council and regional sports associations we build sport grounds, initiate the founding of sport clubs and equip the clubs with essential training equipment. furthermore, coaches get trained holistically and workshops are held to teach kids, adolescents and young adults important life skills. with a youth unemployment rate of nearly 90%, sport is the highlight and often only hobby in the daily life of many young tanzanians. however, most of them don’t have access to their biggest passion regularly due to the lack of equipment, playing fields and organised clubs. this is why we support the systematic development of the most popular team sports in the country: football, volleyball, basketball and netball. our principles: we work according to local needs, not based on a western understanding. we partner with local authorities and local sports federations. we carefull
