sportscardiologybc is founded on the following four pillars: research with an aging population and an overall increase in the participation of regular athletics and exercise in the general population, research in risk factors and warning signs for cardiovascular events as well as optimal training must be investigated. education sportscardiologybc provides public education on safe participation in athletics through the dissemination of results from research investigation, the interpretation of clinical case studies and education seminars. advocacy the public must be informed and educated on the importance of cardiovascular health and how to prevent tragic cardiovascular events. sportscardiologybc collaborates with local, national and international medical, health and athletic organizations. clinical assessment with the overwhelming existing evidence on the beneficial and preventive effects of exercise, our society is becoming increasingly physically active. our goal is to assess an
