problem: cities such as new york and los angeles are very congested, and simply finding a parking spot in the city in the peak hours of the day can be maddening. circling around for strenuous amounts of time, competing against one another just for a place to park is unacceptable in this day and age. business/solution: spotd is a peer to peer parking marketplace that allows users looking for parking on the street to reserve spots held by other drivers before they leave. spotd also allows hosts to list their unused driveways and spaces and rent them out to users. an incentivized parking app that rewards users with convenience and hosts for their information on where to park in congested cities.
