Spotsball

spotsball is an on-line sports challenge, testing your skills of perception and perspective. spot-the-ball contests go back to the 1970’s and 80’s, when they were promoted by british newspapers to increase readership and circulation. the contest format was quickly adopted throughout the uk, especially in ireland where spot-the-ball contests were promoted by local football clubs as a method of fundraising. as cash and merchandise prizes are awarded to entries closest to the ball image (vs. the need to be exactly on the precise spot), in the uk and other countries around the world spot-the-ball games permit entry fees to be charged, and are judged to be legally allowed games of skill vs. a lottery or based upon luck. spotsball, inc. has taken this uk sports challenge concept, and developed an on-line internet format based upon the all-american sports of football, basketball and baseball. top
