spotz is a startup company project for the entrepreneurship class in ucsd's electrical engineering department. our focus is not to create a prototype but learn to talk to customers and have an investor pitch. by creating our own business plan (financials, marketing analysis, etc), giving presentations and planning our company timeline, the main goal is to learn to become an entrepreneur and run a successful business. company description: we are a software company and are focused on an app that tracks where users park or leave in real time. the app uses big data to predict parking spot availability throughout the day. the main purpose for this app is to allow ucsd students not waste time finding parking and immediately find an open spot.
