Springboard Landings

springboard landings is a certified tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2010. our mission is to provide adults with developmental disabilities an option for independent living in a residential community-centered atmosphere with a limited amount of support. our vision is to construct unique apartment buildings with eight individual apartments in each with an additional apartment for a live-in house manager. each apartment will open into a common area to promote community and social interaction. this arrangement will ensure independent living with assistance when needed, and allow the development of a permanent extended family and prevent isolation. our target population is adults with developmental disabilities who have cognitive abilities above the intellectually disabled range. we are currently in the fundraising phase and are looking to build on last year’s momentum to push us into the building phase.
