Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation

the library foundation promotes charitable giving in support of a strong and innovative springfield-greene county library district. since its inception in 1993, the library foundation has worked to further the springfield-greene county library district’s goal of enriching the community with quality resources, facilities and programming – including extensive children’s programming. we facilitated fundraising efforts for high-profile projects such as the library center on south campbell, southwest missouri’s first destination library, infolink, the community’s first online database project and several renovation/ expansion projects at area branches. the library foundation has also been instrumental in founding several funds dedicated to specific library fundraising efforts.
