Springfield Legacy Investment Club

the springfield legacy investment club (slic) is an investment club originating in springfield high school. the club was inspired and created by high schooler raj sinha ii. springfield did not have any business or investment clubs to influence high schoolers. slic was created to teach high school students the major aspects of business and money management. the club is designed for students to specifically learn and participate in sales, marketing, accounting, governance, web site design and investing. slic educates by establishing a business model of raising capital through donation presentations, advertising, and social networking. the capital raised will be invested in equities to attain experience in investing real capital for long term growth. slic is overseen by a board of directors, booster club and bylaws. the club consists of four officers who plan and run monthly club meetings. club meeting agendas typically include member presentations reviewing current investments, eval
