springhill farm began as a wheat/sheep property near baccus marsh run by jo and ray barber. as a kindergarten teacher, jo wanted children to enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life and started hosting farm tours to springhill farm. children would visit the farm for a day and see how a real farm operated, helping to collect the eggs and feed the animals. at the end of the day the children would all enjoy some muesli slice to complete the paddock to plate experience. that muesli slice was the first springhill farm product and 25 years later that product is still available to remind us all that food should come from the farm. these days jo and ray are stepping back and their daughter fiona, along with her husband james, has become involved to continue the tradition of delicious treats from springhill farm.
