we started out as the el cerrito football club in the 1970s. as our soccer community expanded, and more teams formed, we participated with the tottenham hotspurs as a youth soccer partner. affiliation with a pro soccer club out of england no longer made sense as our soccer roots have spread across 16 cities in san francisco’s east bay. the time has come to rebrand — to forge ahead — as a newly formed independent soccer club. we still have the heart and soul of a homegrown soccer community but now with a governing board of directors, managing a robust, year-round soccer program. welcome to our east bay soccer family! spurs fc provides opportunities for player growth at all levels in a supportive soccer community. we deliver the most comprehensive youth soccer development program across norcal that provides opportunities for player growth. our players and families represent albany, berkeley, el cerrito, el sobrante, emeryville, hercules, kensington, oakland, pinole, piedmont, richm
