proud to be the world’s first and only led-lit sanding sponge as the 2nd generation owner of a 45-year old family drywall business, our inventor jake creeley faced the issue of inconsistent detail sanding from his crew multiple times. he was fed up and wanted to find a solution. working in his garage, jake came up with some ideas to help eliminate this problem. one idea stood out. to take the two step process of first sanding with a sponge, then inspecting with a light, and make it into one. that’s when spysponge™ was born! we’re excited to bring to you our patent pending design. we didn’t reinvent the wheel here, just made what you are already doing a lot better. getting critical light at a critical angle™ to see any and all imperfections.
