squad fifty one the first and only 24 hour pet emergency response unit in n.e. ohio. our mission is to fill the current gap that exists between pets and veterinarians in emergent situations. just as with paramedics for humans, sq51's team of veterinary nurses and technicians provide emergency medical care and transport for sick or injured pets. we administer life support services that include oxygen therapy, iv/fluid therapy, intubation, and vital systems monitoring. in addition to emergency care, sq51 can provide critical care transport for patients that require transport between veterinary facilities without interruption in care as in the case of oxygen dependent, post-op, physical therapy, and chemo protocol patients. following your vet's instructions, we also will provide in-home follow up care for post-op or post-procedure patients.
