srikandi is a non-profit organization that has a vision and mission to become a forum for indonesian women's communities who marry foreigners, help each other, support and share experiences. establishing aliasi pelangi antar bangsa (apab), which since 2002 has been fighting for the amendment of law for the benefit of mixed family. the name srikandi is taken from the wayang character in the mahabharata story which has courage and also loyalty to keep the family and country. srikandi was established on october 10, 2000, and recorded in notarial deed of agustina junaedi, s.h. the members are indonesian women married foreigners who are concerned with social issues and also anything related to the problem of mixed marriage. until now, there are 420 members of srikandi who spread all over the world. most of us live in south jakarta. our profession is diverse, ranging from corporate leaders, business owners, professionals and also housewives. srikandi’s activities in addition to holding s
