South Side Hackerspace: Chicago

the south side hackerspace is a collection of nerds, makers, hackers, artists, students, teachers, and other creative people. we meet in chicago’s bridgeport neighborhood, where we teach, learn, and make. our mission is two-fold: 1) act as a community space that enables making. 2) be advocates for self-starters and open collaboration. we focus on cool tools and cool people. we share knowledge, foster an independent network for innovative thinking and support creative endeavors. we are seeking hackers, tinkerers, hobbyists, crafters, artists and doers to join our social, educational and collaborative community space. if you’re interested, we’d love to meet you! feel free to stop by any of our regular open house/general body meetings, held each wednesday at 7:30pm. you’ll meet the membership, get a tour of the space, and get all your questions answered!
