the team is integrating several components of the overall technology, including patented innovation and proprietary know-how, which can help the industrial or power plants to scale and commercialize. firstly, our patented technology which involves high gravity carbonation (higcarb) will capture and treat the flue gases of varying qualities for incentivize co2 removal. it is a modularized and containerized solution, which makes it easy to retrofit into a co2 filtered system. based on our studies, the total energy consumption, including basic oxygen furnace slag (bofs) griding was ca. 707 kqh/t- co2, maximal co2 removal of 97.3%, with a capture of 165 kg of co2 per day. the team is pursuing an approach that incorporates both business model and technology innovation that is compatible with industry needs, in order to deliver co2 emission reductions at a scale and also utilize more alkaline solid wastes, which are significantly contribute to a greener environment.
