St Barnabas House

st barnabas house is an independent charitable hospice located in worthing, west sussex. we provide end of life care services, both at the hospice and in the local community, to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting conditions. we first opened our doors in 1973 and over the last 40 years we have cared for thousands of patients and their families across the worthing, adur, arun and henfield areas. we offer palliative care services for patients with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. our team consists of nurses, doctors, social workers, counsellors, a chaplain, physiotherapists, complementary therapists, an artist-in-residence, our hospice at home team and our friendly volunteers. our services include: • 20 bed in-patient unit • day hospice with 18 places • community palliative care team • family services team • education department • hospice at home at st barnabas house, we care for the whole person, aiming to meet all needs – physical, emotional, social and spiritual.
