St Briavels Playgroup

st briavels early years is a popular community based playgroup situated in a beautiful setting on the top of the wye valley. since september 2014 have been part of the wye forest federation alongside st briavels and redbrook schools. st briavels playgroup is a registered charity (no:1040155) and currently managed by a voluntary committee, although day to day running of the group is overseen by playleader jo george with support from our administrator helen morgan. we offer a stimulating curriculum based around the early years foundation stage. each child is valued as an individual and encouraged to develop at his or her own pace. we use provocations/topics which have been introduced from the children's interest to ensure that the children are interested in what they are learning. we encourage parental and child input into our sessions and value parental partnership. the group runs a successful key persons approach encouraging trusting relationships between staff, children and their fami
