established in 1925, st bridget nurseries is a fourth generation family business that propagates and grows plants to sell in its two exeter based garden centres. the nursery, head office and first garden centre is in old rydon lane, exeter whilst the second garden centre is on the sidmouth road at clyst st mary exeter. this centre is also well known for its fantastic provision for aquatics (ponds and aquariums), the company is unique in that it propagates and grows such a diverse range of plants including shrubs, trees, roses, herbaceous perennials and seasonal plants using traditional horticultural techniques done by hand. the company offers several behind the scenes tours throughout the year.
