St Clair County Child Advocacy Center

the st. clair county child advocacy center is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, child-friendly environment for conducting forensic interviews and medical evaluation. we assist with investigations of sexual and serious physical abuse of children, as well as with interviews of children who have witnessed violent crimes. working with a multi-disciplinary team, we reduce the number times a child has to repeat details of the incident, thus minimizing the trauma a child experiences through re-telling their story. this also allows us to expedite these cases through the judicial system. we, along with our partners, work together to provide children and their families the most comprehensive referrals and services during this challenging time. our services are completely free of charge. we admire the courage it takes for a child to tell their story, and we are proud of the difference our work makes for children and families.
