our community is a alternative inclusive catholic, non-roman, faith community which seeks to provide its members and the community of long island a place to develop their personal relationship with the divine while deepening their faith with acts of charity to those less fortunate the poor, elderly, sick, imprisoned, those suffering from addiction and mental health concerns. we choose to express our catholic faith and traditions which have been passed down from generation to generation through baptism and apostolic succession, of its bishop, for we see in a rich tradition of word and sacrament the essence of the life and message of jesus christ, to love all people and the divine as we love our self. our beginnings and theology are rooted in the catholic diocese of one spirit (cdos), the community of faith will provide food and clothing to the poor. in the spirit of st. francis, we will own nothing and give all proceeds which are given to the community to those who are in need from the
