St. John Lutheran Church, Zimmerman

we are a lutheran congregation in zimmerman, minnesota known for our free community dinners and live nativity event. our mission: “one body in christ, growing, living, and sharing god’s love” spotlights our endeavor to obey the great commission of making disciples of all nations, and to fulfill the new commandment to “love one another, even as i have loved you.” (john 13:34) we are warmly known as the “green church.” (this is because of our green building color.) we are lutherans guided by the holy spirit and saved by the grace of jesus christ, our lord and savior. holy communion is part of every worship service. children are welcome in worship and as part of the weekly children’s sermon. we are part of the evangelical lutheran church in america and fall within the minneapolis area synod. join us and grow with christ at st john lutheran church in zimmerman mn.
