st margaret’s adoption society is a registered charity and voluntary adoption agency in scotland. the organisation was initially founded in 1955, meaning that we have over 60 years’ experience of providing high quality adoption services for children and their families. we strongly believe that every child has the right to grow up in a safe, loving and secure family environment. unfortunately, for some children this cannot be provided within their birth family. our primary role at st margaret's is to recruit prospective adopters for children who are no longer able to live within their birth family. we are committed to delivering a high quality and personalised service to take you through each and every step of your adoption journey. we provide many services in relation to adoption, including the services for those interested in adoption, on-going support and training for adoptive families, as well as services for adopted adults and services for birth parents. whether you are thinki
