St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire)

st. michael’s hospice cares for adults suffering from life-limiting illness across north hampshire. we serve a population of over 250,000 across all of basingstoke and deane, into hart and east hampshire. since opening our doors 26 years ago we have seen over 5,000 patients at our hospice in-patient unit in basingstoke and cared for a further 2,000 patients through our community palliative care team who visit our patients in their own homes. at st. michael’s hospice, we believe that a holistic approach is fundamental to the care we provide and work hard to ensure that our patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met. we employ a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of nursing and medical staff, therapists, chaplains, bereavement support and family support officers. we understand how different life-limiting conditions may affect those in our care and, where possible, work with our patients to create individually tailored support plans that are unique to their needs. all
