st. peter's episcopal church has served as a community of faith, social justice, and community outreach for over 125 years. our call to action – our mission - is to pursue peace in the world. for peace to reign, justice is fundamental. justice isn't limited to the rich and the privileged. the very awe of them guarantees them special respect. and justice isn’t earned. justice is a basic human right for all - including strangers, the poor, the indigent, and the pilgrims. in a world that grows ever more divisive and judgmental, we believe we are called to be tolerant and quick to forgive. we seek to better understand one another. we appreciate that individuals view the world through many different lenses. we aren't a "right/wrong" community. we are a "both/rather" community. we're thinking people. we believe in human reason. we’ve received the gift of intellectual inquiry and we are responsible for developing that gift. we have more unanswered questions
