founded by designer sue stemp and her husband paud roche, st. roche is a responsibly designed and manufactured, seasonless, independent and woman-led brand based in los angeles. sue is from england, paud is from connecticut. they met in new york before moving to la where they reside today with their two kids and two cats. st. roche (named after their last names) was launched in 2014. the collection fuses an effortless, new school femininity with artisanal hand-made details, sustainably sourced natural fibers and original textile designs. with a passion for high quality handwork, using traditional craft techniques designed with a modern approach, st. roche works directly with skilled artisans and small family or women led, ethical manufacturers in india, peru and la. “our garments are timeless, unique and made to last. we believe that less of a thoughtfully designed and made product, is more, and the true meaning of sustainable luxury.”
