St. Vincent Hospital Foundation

established in 1980 and governed by its own independent board of directors, the mission of st. vincent hospital foundation is to support christus st. vincent regional medical center as it provides excellent, compassionate health care to the patients and families it serves, regardless of ability to pay. st. vincent hospital foundation solicits contributions from individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations, and government sources to meet the hospital’s funding needs for capital projects, major equipment, patient and community programs, education, and other projects. several programs were created by st. vincent hospital foundation, are not part of the hospital’s operating budget, and are totally dependent on the fundraising activities of the foundation. included in these are the healthcare exploration program for high school students, the cancer care assistance program, the pharmacy/special needs assistance fund, the nursing education fund, and others. christus st. vincent region
