st. james evangelical lutheran congregation affirms theologically orthodox understandings of the holy scriptues and the evangelical lutheran confessions. through the proclamation of the word of god and the proper administration of the holy sacraments, we rightly distinguish between law and gospel, the sacrifical death of jesus christ on the cross and his bodily resurrection, for the fogiveness of sinners. we worship with the lutheran book of worship (lbw or green book) and are always happy to have visitors join us. in addition to worship and bible study, we also provide a number of opportunities for fellowship and service to others throughout the year.
