St. Louis Centers for Advanced Professional Studies

the st. louis centers for advanced professional studies (stl caps) provide juniors and seniors in high school the opportunity to fast-forward beyond college to test-drive their future in high-skill, high-demand careers. the stl caps program offerings are directly informed by the annual state of st. louis workforce report and include bioscience, medicine, healthcare, engineering, technology, global business and entrepreneurship. students spend 3 hours each day, during the school day, for an entire school year immersed in a profession-based experience. students perform projects directly from business and industry partners while also refining professionalism and workplace etiquette. students are eligible to complete in depth job shadow opportunities and unpaid internships with business partners. stl caps is part of the national caps network and is the first and only caps program in the st. louis open to all high schools and districts. students earn high school credit and there are college
