our mission is to improve the life course of foster and adopted children who have experienced early developmental trauma. children who have experienced early developmental trauma or family disruption often struggle with creating healthy attachments which can impact their ability to adapt to change, navigate peer relationships and social environments, achieve academic milestones and regulate their emotional and behavioral responses. research has suggested that one of the most effective interventions for children surviving with trauma is a long-lasting, consistent relationship and reliable connection.
