with a background in both biology and communications, i use a variety of visual media and technologies as platforms for environmental storytelling, education, and research. working in collaboration with individuals, ngos, and institutions, i facilitate environmental science interpretation, natural history exploration and illustration, and use storytelling to create measurable changes in conservation awareness and advocacy. storytelling is important to every human culture. it provides us with a means of understanding and engaging with the world around us. i use storytelling to connect concepts and issues with universal stories and themes, making them relatable and engaging.
