stag safety + survival llc was founded in 2014 by matthew west, a commercial helicopter pilot and flight instructor. matthew identified a significant lack of adequate first aid and survival equipment carried by general aviation aircraft. whereas commercial passenger carrying aircraft are mandated to carry lifesaving equipment, there is no such requirement for general aviation aircraft, yet statistically this is the segment most at risk. in an effort to bridge this gap, stag safety + survival is producing a range of medical and survival packs to suit a variety of aircraft applications and budgets. we hope to provide a high level of life support equipment for all aviators and aircraft types. alongside top quality equipment we provide specialized survival training, teaching the fundamentals of wilderness survival in a variety of environments.
