the stages cycling brand launched at the 2012 interbike tradeshow with a unique design philosophy that is now accepted and emulated by many manufacturers. in addition this pioneering product design, stages cycling is also responsible for bringing the concepts of calibrated ‘active temperature compensation’ and accelerometer (or internal sensor) based cadence to the category, which are features that other manufactures are only now launching. prior to that the launch of the brand name, stages cycling’s core product and engineering team pioneered direct force power measurement for indoor cycling, which launched in 2010 within another brand’s line. together the product group has 50-plus years of design, manufacturing, and product experience spread out over the cycling and fitness industries, while our core design group has been granted over 200 patents collectively during their collective careers. we are cyclists first, and have vast experience with all facets of cycling: we are road, trac
