stages performing arts, inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation run by a board of directors. stages is dedicated to helping children from ages 7 to 15 develop a love of the performing arts. we serve as a performing arts camp committed to educating children about elements of musical theater and giving them the freedom to grow through the arts. we offer a five-week summer camp environment. click here to see a sample schedule. no previous acting or musical theater experience is required. our instructors are highly qualified in their respective fields, and have extensive experience working with performers of all ages. guest artist speakers help round out the theater experience for campers. camp activities include: - instruction in singing, acting and dancing - audition techniques - theatrical make-up - improvisation - dance techniques - character development - stage combat - fun, theme days - performing an edited broadway musical on stage, complete with full costumes, makeup, professio
