Stan Cassidy Foundation

the stan cassidy foundation's role is to support the stan cassidy centre for rehabilitation (sccr) by providing funds and resources to enhance the facility, patient care and rehabilitation services. the sccr is new brunswick's bilingual, tertiary, neurological, rehabilitation centre. it is the only facility in atlantic canada that treats patients throughout their lifespan and it has the only paediatric rehabilitation wing in atlantic canada. it is the only rehabilitation engineering clinic and powered prosthetic clinic in atlantic canada and the 2nd largest in canada. it is a recognized training centre for rehabilitation professionals and residency at the sccr is a core requirement for dalhousie university. the $28 million dollar facility is located adjacent to the dr. everett chalmers hospital and houses 20 inpatient beds, 5 transitional living units as well as the provincial centre for autism. the staff at the sccr treat patients who have suffered from acquired brain or spinal cord i
