stan seymour is a music composer, orchestrator, sound designer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist. stan creates original music for use in television, film, theatrical trailers, video games and promotional media, with an emphasis on composition of orchestral music as well as hybrid orchestral music (i.e., compositions combining orchestral and electronic/non-conventional instruments). stan's path to musicianship began with the piano, which is his principal instrument. after studying classical piano with private teachers during his youth for over a decade, stan focused on jazz and gospel music idioms during his college years at northwestern university in evanston, illinois. by the time stan graduated from northwestern, he had also worked extensively composing and arranging music for several vocal ensembles and choirs, including the university's largest traditional gospel chorale at that time. as a multi-instrumentalist, stan plays a range of other keyboard instruments, includ
