with low barriers to entry, the opportunity for individuals to start investing has grown. apps such as robinhood, td ameritrade, webull and many others have opened the door for anyone to open a brokerage account and begin buying and selling stocks. the opportunity to make a little extra money has attracted users to these platforms by the millions and with the drastic rises in crypto markets many dream of hitting the jackpot. unfortunately, this has caused many to enter the stock market unaware of the risks and tools at their disposal. the stock analytic network (stan) was born out of the harsh reality of navigating the stock market without any bearings. we combine a social network, stock data, and machine learning to help investors gain knowledge around the market.
