stand for vets (also known as the the mark hodel veteran’s foundation) was founded by john hodel in honor of his late older brother, mark hodel, who served in the vietnam war and died serving our country. in memory of mark, stand for vets is dedicated to raising funds for our wounded veterans. we strive to restore independence to their lives by raising funds for their customized prosthetics, specialized wheelchairs, or providing other personalized services that will assist them in their mobility and well-being. we are deeply committed to supporting our veterans and ask that all who donate to our cause - do so out of love, sincerity, memory, and respect from the heart for those cherished veterans who permanently sacrificed so much for us. our challenge there are times in life when we are called for something greater than ourselves - when a lifetime of experiences come together in a way that makes that calling undeniable. that is happening here. our wounded and amputee veterans face many
