Stanford Energy Policy Community

stanford university's energy policy community is dedicated to bringing students closer to the energy policy realm. members gain exposure to experts in energy and policy through a series of speaker events, small group lunches and dinners, an annual energy policy panel, and even through the recently founded energy policy collaborative, where participants work on real-world energy policy challenges under the guidance of energy policy experts. our events attract hundreds of attendees from the stanford community, with past speakers including nobel laureate and fmr. secretary of energy steve chu and cpuc commissioner carla peterman.
