stapel was founded by a veteran of the business, non-profit, government, and technology spaces, with a vision to restore balance in business technology between simplicity, functionality, cost, security, and privacy. we are in the startup stage, but we like to call it the "re-startup" stage. we've been silently learning for 20 or so years. gathering the experience, wisdom, and perspective that comes from years of success, failure, re-tooling, learning, and applying the wisdom that results. we have a ton to learn, of course, but we have a strong belief that technology does not have to be complicated for business owners and technology decision makers. additionally, there is no mutually exclusive relationship between the benefits of the cloud enabled world we live in and the control and privacy we once knew. at the heart of it, this is what the vision of stapel is all about. over the course of the next few months, we will be helping a few organizations realize this vision as well. if
