my name is tamara murphy. i hail from minnesota, and currently live in the hamptons, new york. i've been inspired by my son, jesse tollakson, to do what i can...that is to make quality handbags, sell them, and donate the proceeds...to help the many combat vets who currently suffer from combat ptsd. the statistics of ptsd survivors is heart-wrenching. losing 22 combat vets per day to ptsd-related suicide is just not acceptable. there are several organizations around the country that provide safety, education, and retraining to those who suffer with ptsd. i've chosen to support the trr (trauma and resiliency resources) program. the mission of trr's warrior camp® program is to heal the trauma of war in active military and veterans of all eras, and to prevent suicide.
