the skills training and resource center for women empowerment, popularly known as star women is a training hub of learning initiatives for employable and entrepreneurial skills development. our vision is to be the epicenter for empowering women and girls to break ceilings to lead, innovate, and build the africa we want. our mission is to equip women and girls from underprivileged and marginalized backgrounds as well as the youth with the mindset, skills, experiences, resources, and support networks that enable them to overcome personal and professional life challenges in order to contribute to local development while making a global impact. we run programs that train young people especially women and girls from underserved communities to close the skills gap and build their capacity to gain a source of income. through our flagship star alternative access program, we support young women with skills training, apprenticeship placements and mentorship in order to enable them to gain
