starfish isn’t the only printer in the bay area. our capabilities are no different than the other top printers. the truth is, there is not much variance in talent among the better printers in the business. screen printing has been around for over a thousand years—the technology has changed, but the methods have not. we all use the same techniques, and the same inks on the same products. we try to be different with our “small/human” approach. we have presses that distinguish us as a large shop with large shop capabilities, but we want to feel small. it’s more human. at starfish, you will have your own account manager to oversee your projects—they’ll guide you through the due dates, inventory, fabric, and artwork specs. they return e-mails and even personally send you tracking info. this is the human part, and it is as important as getting the quality product you’ve ordered.
