starkbim is developing a suite of applications for use in the bim design and construction process. the applications will include batch printing and exporting tools, on-the-fly clash detection, user & element history and much more. starkbim was founded by colin stark in may 2016. for nearly 4 years prior, colin worked at h.h angus & associates, an mep consulting engineering firm in toronto, canada. while working there, he developed a suite of revit addins that, powered by an external database, allowed users to save thousands of hours and focus their efforts on the engineering process itself. colin was a speaker at autodesk university 2014, giving a talk on how to integrate an external database with a revit application, and on the benefits that this can bring.
