starnet (formerly artaxia) was the first isp in israel to offer isdn and satellite access. starnet was formed in 1996 as artaxia and on july 1997 was officially rebranded into starnet, as part of a marketing and advertising campaign. starnet provided market leading dial-up and frame-relay packages with excellent service and quality levels. albeit booming sales, cashflow was an issue leading to bankruptcy in january 1998. starnet core staff remain close friends to this day, and the promise of starnet continues to be an energizing dream... starnet - realizing virtual future!
