Starringsmu'21

started in 2007, starringsmu is the largest and longest-running student-led community service project in smu. our volunteers are involved in various activities annually to engage with children and the elderly with various disabilities in singapore. this year, we will be holding our engagements online! starringsmu has, to date, impacted more than 10,000 individuals in the community. this year, starringsmu’21 aims to provide participants with the chance to engage and contribute to the community, especially those with special needs. starringsmu’21 provides a platform for the freshmen to discover more about themselves and instil a sense of civic-mindedness that can expand beyond the event. we seek to nurture individuals with the leadership potential to champion causes for the special needs community.
