Starry Night Retreat

located downtown in the historic hot springs district of truth or consequences, a small, rural new mexico town, starry night retreat is a place where writers, artists and researchers can find a quiet respite in which to focus on their work. at starry night, artists in residence (air) enjoy living quarters, shared studio space and a charming communal courtyard. if it is uninterrupted time to focus on making work or a momentary reprieve that one is looking for – or, frequently, a combination of both – a starry night residency accommodates the creative mind and what it needs to sustain itself, while providing an opportunity for artistic collaboration in a small creative community. through the process of exploration artists are encouraged to interact with local community members as well as other airs. we can accommodate up to three artists or artist teams at a time. starry night retreat provides emerging artists, writers and researchers with an opportunity for uninterrupted time and space.
