stars and freckles is a family owned vineyard dedicated to producing local and estate wines. foodies at heart, our wines pair well with elegant california cuisine and backyard family bbq. our goal is to make a wine with the highest quality, sustainably grown fruit from the carneros region of sonoma and napa. the cool climate of carneros is ideal for growing chardonnay and pinot noir. our family has a long history in northern california agriculture. immigrants from ireland, farming the land goes back multiple generations of large agricultural crops. we learned the value of hard work and the challenges that come with wind, frost, and nature. northern california soil is in our blood. stars and freckles is inspired by these generations of family. we respect the land and focus on sustainable farming.
