stars vigilant (formerly stars industry services) provides workforce safety solutions through a multi-function communications centre, assisting organizations with emergency response planning and regulatory compliance. our emergency communications specialists support clients and ensure the best possible outcome in emergency situations. since 1996, stars vigilant has provided site registration – registering client’s staffed sites further than 20 minutes by ground from a major hospital, or where access or weather may compromise the ability to deliver timely medical care. this service includes worksites and recreational locations such as campgrounds and festival sites. registered sites are part of an expansive “neighbour-helping-neighbour” network, where medical resources from a nearby site may be requested to assist until first responders arrive. stars vigilant emergency communications centre (ecc) was established in 2009 to coordinate emergency response plans on behalf of our industry
