50 million young women in the world are unemployed, with many others in badly paid and dangerous work. sadly, the devastating effects of covid-19, means that this number is set to rise even further. when women don’t have decent work and incomes, whole societies are affected. but, there is a way to give women new opportunities and their families the futures they deserve. we have a history of delivering. she is part of y care international and the global ymca movement. we’ve been creating positive change for young people for over 175 years. she works to unlock the enormous potential and talent in young women. they have the ideas, the determination, the flair and the need to succeed. she invests in their futures by providing training, business skills and opportunities to deliver long term impact for every one of them. join our movement. together let’s put women at the heart of the covid-19 response.
