Start With a Friend Austria

start with a friend austria connects locals and refugees on a friendship basis. we bring people with similar interests and hobbies together who would otherwise probably not meet each other. our vision is to create an inclusive society where all people equal, no matter of their background, religion or gender. we want to eliminate prejudices and foster intercultural exchange and integration in austria. besides bringing people togehter in friendships "tandems", we organize monthly events and gatherings, so more friendships can form naturally. these events are always very popular and we were able to create a sense of family in our community! the organization has its origin in germany, our sister organization start with a friend was founded in 2014. in austria, so far we only operate in vienna but as soon as finances allow, we would love to grow within the country.
